Tom, the President of ADG,  has focused on leading the front on project design and management for over 40 years, has been a pillar of ADG’s growth and success. His tenure with ADG spans more than 30 years. Under his direction, the firm has developed a reputation for consistently providing quality design and program management services on a wide range of projects, including hospitals, apartments and government facilities. In addition, under Tom’s direction the firm has seen unparalleled growth including fields of engineering and urban planning. He has guided the firm’s growth into several market sectors, including: healthcare, K-12 education, corporate offices, higher education, municipal projects and multifamily housing.

    Tom’s ability to foster and building lasting relationships with clients, consultants and contractors has allowed the firm to grow beyond the boundaries of Oklahoma to include work in 29 states—from Georgia to Alaska. Through his management expertise, he has guided the firm through the design and construction of such noteworthy projects as the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute, the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, Wagner Hall at the University of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma City Police Headquarters and Courts Complex.


    Principal + Director of Design

    A firm partner at ADG, Scott has led the design team for the past 19 years and has more than 30 years of design experience. His communication style is open and collaborative inviting clients into the planning and design process, creating a welcoming forum for the open dialogue needed for the creative process. He believes the best architecture is based on acquiring knowledge of each client’s needs for a successful development that can maximize their facility goals, allowing the project to be flexible as needs change.

    He emphasizes conformance to clients’ budgets, schedules and building efficiencies from the earliest design stages through the completion of construction.

    Scott joined ADG in 1994 and has had direct responsibility for the development of more than 150 building projects and master planning efforts, representing a construction value in excess of $1 billion.


    Principal + Project Manager

    JC is a firm principal with expertise in a large variety of project types including housing, healthcare, senior living, ecclesiastical and education projects. With 20 years of experience, he is well-versed in nearly all aspects of architectural practice.

    As Executive Director of Project Operations, JC manages the firm’s growing portfolio and client relationships. He works to inspire great craftsmanship and pride in ADG’s work, both within the firm and local industry. Aided by his community involvement and knowledge, JC has worked with clients to create better connections to the people they serve by way of great building design. He also has a passion for finding practical solutions to historic building restoration and adaptive reuse, as evidenced through his management of the First National Center renovation and the Oklahoma State Capitol rehabilitation projects.

    JC holds a Bachelor of Architecture with distinction from the University of Oklahoma. Having lived in the Oklahoma City area for over 50 years, he has seen the City transform from the worst days of urban renewal, to a thriving and exciting redevelopment.

    When he’s not ribbing his two daughters (and employees) with dad jokes, JC enjoys running, home improvement projects, singing with his wife in their church choir and obsessing over his new barbeque smoker.


    Principal + Director of Program Management

    Jason serves as Director of Program Management, leading his team of program managers for large, complex and specialty projects. He is a resource for technical, communication and managerial issues owners may face, including public outreach and awareness.

    With a background in civil engineer, Jason provided services to multi-disciplinary design teams for 20 years. His experience includes site planning, grading design, earthwork analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, public and private utility design, as well as paving/hardscape design and documentation. The American Indian Cultural Center, the University of Oklahoma Memorial Stadium expansion and Oklahoma City Public Schools Pathway to Greatness are a few notable projects in his career.

    Jason has a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He lives in the country with his family and their dog, Sophie. When he’s not managing projects, Jason enjoys running, camping and playing guitar.


    Principal + Project Manager

    Steve has been with ADG for over 30 years and has managed numerous projects, ranging from master plans and conceptual studies, to renovations and new construction. His team leadership style is marked by responsive communication with everyone working on the project. Throughout the process, Steve acts as the clients’ advocate by working to make sure their design visions, budgets and scheduling goals are met.

    He has worked on projects throughout the Metroplex including the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and the new Oklahoma City Police Headquarters and Municipal Courts Complex. Steve has also managed the design for Wagner Hall and the Residential Colleges at the University of Oklahoma, as well as a variety of private education projects at Casady School, Westminster School and Mount St. Mary Catholic High School.

    Steve has a Bachelor and Master of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma. He enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa (who is also an architect) and his dog Atticus. Steve also volunteers as a Whiz Kids tutor and is active in his church.

  • Betsy Guthrie-Brunsteter

    Principal + Project Manager

    Betsy is a firm principle and brings over 30 years of experience to the firm’s capabilities. She specializes in healthcare architecture and has worked in most of the major hospitals in the Oklahoma City metro area, as well as rural Oklahoma. Betsy has a special interest in historical and urban architecture and served on various boards and committees for the City of Oklahoma City for 30 years. Serving her community has given her a front-row seat to the positive changes emerging in the city.

    A proud member of her community, Betsy enjoys projects in the Metroplex like the St. Anthony Surgery Department and the expansion of Special Care in Oklahoma City. She also worked on the expansion at Duncan Regional Hospital and the first phase of the Children’s Center in Bethany.

    Betsy has a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma. She lives with her husband, Dub and their dog, Gilda. In addition to community involvement, they enjoy traveling the world. They have two grown children who both live a stone’s throw away with grandchildren – making Oklahoma City the perfect home.


    Principal + Project Manager

    Isabel is a skilled project manager in all aspects of the design process, relying on her highly organized attention to detail and diverse project experience. She excels at coordinating complex projects for a variety of municipal, government, military and private clients. Her thorough and methodical approach is ideal for project types with multiple regulating entities and stringent requirements. Isabel’s well-rounded set of capabilities are derived from her experience with reviewing contracts, organizing teams, architecture planning and design, producing construction documents, engagement in the bidding and negotiation process, and construction administration.

    Her work includes a variety of projects for the City of Oklahoma City, the Federal Aviation Administration, Ft. Sill Army Post and the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. She has also worked on hotels, churches and education projects.

    Isabel earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico. She is a founding member of the National Association of Women in Construction Oklahoma City chapter and enjoys volunteering at the Oklahoma City Civic Center. Isabel and her family live in Oklahoma City and enjoy spending time biking around the city. You can also find her cheering on her son on the Boathouse Kayaking Team.


    Director of Urban Planning

    AJ has nearly 15 years of experience in urban planning and community building efforts. His intense passion for urban cores and neighborhood nodes of all shapes and sizes makes him an incredible Director of Urban Planning. He has developed expertise in walkability, transit and parking as well as creative uses of GIS. Possessing both the abilities to plan and to execute, AJ brings his strong community connections formed while working for the City of Oklahoma City to ADG, having managed one of the nation’s most complex Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) at Downtown OKC, Inc..

    Known for his strategic thinking and ability to bring structure to fledgling efforts, AJ is the current chair of the Oklahoma District Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and was the organizer of a recent effort to spread best practices in development by helping 25 Oklahoma professionals to earn Congress for the New Urbanism-Accredited (CNU-A).


    Director of Civil Engineering

    Clint is the Director of Civil Engineering and has been in the field since 1993. His past experiences as a project engineer and project manager for various types of projects enables him to efficiently manage the civil engineering team and their site designs.

    The team’s design work ranges from residential to commercial developments, including large residential master plans up to 640 acres, USACE projects and municipal projects. Clint’s portfolio includes the OKC Fairground Coliseum and Oklahoma Christian School Elementary.

    Clint has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. He has lived in and has engineering experience in Missouri, Arizona and Oklahoma. Currently, he is licensed in six states. When he’s not working, Clint enjoys photography, fishing, camping, hiking and traveling.


    Director of Construction Phase Services

    Robert’s diverse knowledge of building codes and construction systems combined with his experience in design and construction, enable him to wear multiple hats for ADG. His background in construction oversight and design and project management has given him hands-on experience valuable to the construction services team he leads.

    His attention to detail and thorough organization abilities allow him to strictly adhere to schedules and budget requirements, which in turn often saves money for clients and exceeds their expectations. Robert’s portfolio of work includes construction services for the City of Oklahoma City (including the MAPS for Kids school improvement program), the University of Oklahoma and Duncan Regional Hospital.

    Robert has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He lives in Moore, Oklahoma with his wife and three boys. They love Mexican food and are fans of Thunder basketball and OU football.

  • Jacquelyn Edwards

    Director of Marketing and Business Development

    Jacquelyn is the newest member of ADG’s marketing team, joining the firm as Director of Marketing. She leads the Marketing and Business Development group, managing the various projects for all of ADG’s sectors. She elevates brand awareness and community involvement while seeking out new business and implementing the firms’ marketing strategy.

    She is an experienced development expert with demonstrated history in innovative marketing, event planning and incisive management through personal development. She is uniquely right and left-brained, allowing her to “see both the forest and the trees.” Jacquelyn can strategize with various personalities and enjoys utilizing her robust network to benefit the firm. She has extensive knowledge of the Oklahoma City metro market through her previous work in the non-profit field.

    Jacquelyn studied marketing at the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising in New York City and loves watching the growth of her hometown of Oklahoma City. She is an active OKC Museum of Art Moderns member, OKC Ballet Associate Board member, and a LOYAL Class XII graduate. She is a proud Midtown resident with her two dogs and fiancé, Sam. Jacquelyn loves reading, yoga, outdoor activities and traveling. Some of her favorite places she’s been to are Thailand, Masai Mara, Rome, Taos and Cuba.


    Director of Finance and Administration

    Lori has been dedicated to ADG since 1989. She is responsible for all business operations of the firm as well as employee relations and human resources. She continually evaluates project budgets and schedules to see that the client’s money is spent wisely within the firm’s operations. Her primary responsibilities include accounts payable, accounts receivable, job cost accounting, payroll, insurance and contracts. She has a vast knowledge of all accounting, contractual matters, budgets and cost schedules within ADG. Lori serves as ADG’s corporate Secretary and Treasurer.

  • Angie Dickerson

    Interiors Manager

    Angie is a registered interior designer providing design services focused around building relationships, creating experiences, and improving efficiencies. Her background includes education, healthcare, corporate, residential, restaurant and hospitality project design work. She believes first impressions are proven to be the most memorable; therefore, she works with each client to develop a vision for their project and then articulates that vision throughout the design process, resulting in a design solution that capitalizes on its unique qualities, creating authentic and truly memorable spaces. Angie holds a Bachelor of Science in Design, Housing, and Merchandising from Oklahoma State University. Her past project design experience has included work for the Oklahoma City Thunder, the National Weather Center and several corporate offices and restaurants, including Mahogany at Century Center and Clarity Coffee both in downtown Oklahoma City


    Assoc. AIA

    Brian has been an integral member of the design department since joining ADG in 2003. He brings over 15 years of experience anchored by both a technical and artistic background, with the ability to integrate these seemingly opposing perspectives. Brian’s strong technical knowledge helps form design decisions at the front-end of a project’s design and provides value to every building across various complexities and budgetary demands. He has a deep passion for designing projects that reinforce client visions and goals, and that improve the quality of the environment in which we live, work and play.



    A talented designer who’s been with ADG in 1997, Mike brings ample experience in building design. He has worked on projects that require a high level of design due to their complexity. His experience has covered a broad range of architectural projects, including hospitals, office buildings, parking structures, schools, apartments, retirement facilities, churches and warehouses. Working with teams across all disciplines, Mike helps to ensure design quality throughout the project life cycle. He translates design into working drawings, space planning, master planning and creating ADG standards.

    Mike has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma. Living in Oklahoma City and working on design projects outside the office, it’s no surprise Mike is an accomplished mixed-media artist. This multi-talented designer also enjoys woodworking and metalworking.

  • Chad Mitchell

    Senior Project Architect

    Chad is an accomplished senior project architect who works on projects ranging in all phases of design and construction. As an efficient and responsive team leader, he is recognized for providing his clients with sound judgment and creative solutions. He coordinates various teams on complex projects to improve efficiencies and ensure success for his clients.

    He works closely with project managers and clients for various projects including those for schools, religious institutions and municipalities. Some projects Chad has worked on throughout his career include Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine, the Oklahoma State Fair horse barns and Gulfport Energy Corporate Headquarters.

    Chad has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma. When he’s not in the office, Chad enjoys reading, working on old cars and traveling to hockey tournaments for his son’s games. He lives in Norman with his family and two dogs.

  • Keith Holman


    Keith excels at working with clients to provide quality design and service while remaining committed to community and the environment. He is a multi-faceted architect and project manager who is extremely organized in the execution and coordination of the projects he manages. He provides an integrated approach to the design process which often results in savings to the client, in both project budget and schedule. Keith is a gifted designer adept at architectural visualization, helping each client to understand that “seeing is believing” early in the design process.


    Registered Interior Designer

    Clients have trusted Suzan to carry out their visions of interior spaces for many years. Her ability to understand an organization’s mission, needs and goals starts with a conversation in which Suzan derives essential information by truly listening. She then engages the client in a collaborative process that defines the intent of design. Her method of rooting out these unique, reflective characteristics adds value to every project she is assigned – from historic church renovations to modern new office spaces. Suzan’s extensive knowledge of interior finish materials and her innovative use of color allow her to create designs that are inviting, thought-provoking, beautiful and durable. She then presents her ideas through floor plans and elevations. Finally, she communicates the design plan to contractors through extensive detailing.

    Suzan enjoys jewelry making, cooking and gardening. While growing up in southeast Oklahoma, she was encouraged to pursue her dream of becoming an interior designer by a former employer who recognized her talent. Suzan has a love of Bauhaus design style for its use of clean lines and the combination of crafts and fine arts in architecture, furniture and household items. Her favorite quote is by J.K. Rowling: “It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.”


    Marketing Strategy Manager

    Anne-Marie is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating new business development. Her strong interpersonal and management skills, along with avid support of business-community programs make her an asset to the firm.

    A 20+ years veteran at ADG, Anne-Marie knows the business and excels at promoting it! She enjoys staying up-to-date on what is going on in Oklahoma’s built environment and specializes in collaborating with our project managers on building client and consultant relationships.

    Anne-Marie has a degree in political science from the University of California, Berkeley and is a certified professional services marketer. A native Californian, she is happy Oklahoma adopted her and is an active member of the Oklahoma City and Norman communities. She loves attending industry events and charity fundraisers while watching the Metroplex continue to blossom.


    Registered Interior Designer

    Leigh Ann is one of our talented registered interior designers. She works with clients to create functionable yet aesthetically pleasing spaces, through her extensive knowledge of interior materials, space planning and construction. Leigh Ann is involved from beginning to end with projects and exhibits keen attention to detail and constructability in her designs.

    Her portfolio is diverse and includes projects for education, healthcare, sports and recreation, religious institutions and municipalities. Leigh Ann has enjoyed working with clients like St. Luke’s Methodist Church in Edmond, Crossings Christian School in Oklahoma City and Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan.

    Leigh Ann has a Bachelor of Science in Design, Housing and Merchandising from Oklahoma State University. She is an expert baker who enjoys exercising and being outside. She lives in Edmond with her husband, son and daughter.


    Registered Interior Designer

    Casey has produced surveys for multiple projects that focus on traditional and modern interior design spaces. She has extensive experience with reading drawings in order to note structure and existing features that will impact future designs. She has the ability to render complete CAD drawings and Revit models from hand-drawn notes and photos. Her project experience includes mall retail stores, large theaters, libraries and department stores. Casey has experience with both historical buildings and new construction. She has worked in the development of large scale Revit models.



    Mike is an experienced landscape architect with extensive knowledge in project management and client coordination. Experience includes managing private development projects throughout the United States and in Saudi Arabia. He has managed municipal projects beginning in early design phases that continue through  construction administration to project completion. He is knowledgeable in cost estimation and budget development. Mike is also experienced with CD documentation, design development, presentation graphics and detailing of hardscape elements and planting plans.


    Project Architect

    Peter’s diverse background allows him to take on many roles in the architectural design process. He wears many hats for ADG’s architecture team, as he coordinates with engineers, clients and contractors to ensure projects are built to the owners’ goals. These skills have allowed Peter to serve in roles of client management, project budgeting, coordination of construction administration, time management and project scheduling in various industries.

    He has coordinated several large projects in Metroplex like the Oklahoma State Capitol exterior rehabilitation and the First National Center renovation. His focus has been on historic preservation and he is a member of Preservation Oklahoma.

    Peter has a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University and is a voracious Texas Tech athletics fan. He was born in California and now lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, three kids and dog. Peter is active in the community, enjoys reading historical novels and loves new adventures.

  • Jim Outhier

    Mechanical Designer

    Jim has over 40 years of HVAC and plumbing design experience, as well as 14 years of experience in managing designers, draftsmen and CAD operators. Having a high level of ethics, he places the client’s requirements and needs above all other concerns. Jim is proficient in Autodesk Revit, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MicroStation, Carrier HAP, HCC-V, TRACE 700 and CHVAC.


    Project Manager

    Alison has several years of experience with coordinating large-scale projects. She has a proven reputation for open communication, accountability and transparency. Her enthusiasm for engaging stakeholders in the early stages of planning helps make sure that project goals are reflected throughout the design process. Alison’s style of adaptability with keen attention to detail is vital for keeping challenging projects in line with budget and schedule, while providing creative and attractive design solutions.

    Her experience includes multifamily housing, hospitality and HUD-financed projects. She has served as project architect on notable Oklahoma City projects, such as the First National Center renovation and Argon Apartments at Chisholm Creek.

    Alison holds a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Ball State University. She is from Cincinnati, Ohio and lives in Edmond, Oklahoma with her husband and son. Alison enjoys traveling and visiting with family and friends all over the country.


    Project Manager

    Randy works with owners to manage their large-scale bond projects. His diverse background spanning numerous services at ADG – interior design, production, construction administration and program management – prove invaluable to his clients. His organizational and collaborative skill set enables him to keep programs running smoothly and in budget!

    Dedicated to the program management profession, Randy has been vital to several programs in the Metroplex. These include Norman Public Schools Facilities Long Range Master Plan, Oklahoma City Public Schools Facilities Long Range Master Plan and MAPS for Kids.

    Randy has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture from East Central University and an Associates in Art from Rose State College. He lives in Noble, Oklahoma and is a member of the Planning Commission. A man of many talents, Randy enjoys cycling, building furniture, remodeling houses and Gyotaku fish printing!

    Construction Administrator

    Christopher has been with ADG since 2006. Having previously provided program management services for the MAPS 3 program, he was familiar with how ADG operates and performs and was a natural fit for our program management team. He currently provides on-site observation services and consultant coordination for the 2014 Norman Public School Bond Issue projects and Terra Apartments at University North Park—both in Norman.

    Christopher brings strong technical drawing skills to the projects he works on. While at ADG, he has served on the project team that put together the drawings for the Oklahoma City Police Headquarters and Municipal Courts buildings and provided BIM/CAD Technician services for various other projects including projects at Ft. Sill Army Post, Tinker Air Force Base and the Oklahoma Military Department.


  • Melanie Draper

    Senior Project Manager

    Melanie is a forward-thinking and highly accomplished project manager with expertise in space planning and analysis, facility management, risk mitigation and vendor/consultant relationship management. She has a proven track record of motivating teams toward high performance, overcoming challenges and delivering results. Her notable projects include the Devon Energy Center and Oklahoma City Public Schools Facility Long Range Master Plan.

    Melanie earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design degree from the University of Oklahoma. She lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and daughter, along with their golden retriever and miniature pig. She enjoys serving at her church in various capacities, serving as a trustee on the board of her daughter’s school and attending her daughter’s sporting events.


    Project Captain

    Lisa is a project captain working with ADG’s architecture, design and engineering teams. She coordinates with various team members and clients to ensure projects meet our clients’ needs within budget and schedule.

    Her experience includes education and entertainment projects. Lisa also brings extensive knowledge of storm shelter requirements. She is trained by Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (OEM) to assess schools for the least vulnerable area of refuge for severe wind event and trained by FEMA to design storm shelters. Lisa has worked on Crossings Christian School and Church, Mount Saint Mary Catholic High School and UCO’s new dining center.

    Lisa has a Bachelor of Interior Design from Texas Tech University and is a professional member of the National Storm Shelter Association. When she’s not organizing her teams, Lisa likes to spend time with her family traveling, hiking, ziplining, kayaking and participating in competitive shooting.


    Registered Interior Designer

    Jennifer is a registered interior designer and a part of ADG’s interior design team. She excels at using new technology, social trends and industry advancements to serve her clients. Jennifer wears many hats, working on tasks like reflected ceiling plans, custom and standard details, and finish and materials selection. She helps guide clients through the design process and coordinates with consultants to provide the highest level of project satisfaction.

    She has worked on varying project types, from office spaces and healthcare environments, to multifamily interiors. Her work in the Oklahoma City Metro area includes St. Anthony Neurology Clinic, and NewView’s corporate office and training facility. Jennifer also worked on the interior design for our office in the Fred Jones building!

    Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Oklahoma State University. She advocates for the interior design profession through her work with the International Interior Design Association and the Oklahoma Interior Design Coalition. Jennifer lives in Yukon with her family and enjoys fly fishing, yoga, cooking and volunteering with her church.


    Mechanical Designer

    Logan brings a fresh perspective and modern approach to ADG’s engineering team. He is versed in a variety of new technology including AutoCAD LT, Revit, Solidworks, Draftsight, Sketchup and DWG Editor. He manages both 2D and 3D drawings and excels at working with his team members to bring design concepts to life. Some of Logan’s experience includes the Terra Apartments at University North Park, the Hyatt Place Bricktown Hotel and the First National Center renovation.

    Logan lives in Moore and is in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He enjoys playing soccer and is a huge fan of the Arsenal Football Club.


    Interiors, Lighting & Accessibility Design

    Susan is an interiors, lighting and accessibility designer with a primary focus on lighting design. Communicating with project architects to determine space usage while learning about special requirements, helps Susan select the right lighting layouts for each project. She does this by studying forms, project limitations and current fixture designs, then tests layouts using computer lighting calculations to ensure a perfect fit for her clients’ goals. Her ability to develop a positive rapport with everyone involved and clear communication style is ideal for relaying intricate project details.

    Susan grew up in Texas on a cattle farm, exhibiting registered Brahman cattle. After pursuing a Master of General Agriculture from Stephen F. Austin State University, Susan furthered her education there by earning a Master of Human Sciences with an emphasis on Interior Design. While she did change career paths and states, one thing hasn’t changed: she still exhibits cattle. Susan also enjoys cooking, listening to audio books and spending time with her active daughter.



    Karen has several years of international experience in architectural and interior design. She has acquired skills and experience in programming and designing both new construction as well as adaptive re-use projects. She excels at collaborating with team members with her problem-solving, design thinking and visualization skills, presenting and translating design intent from concept through successful  execution. Karen currently works in ADG’s New York office and has professional experience in the design industry in Hong Kong and Guangzhou, China.

  • Dayne Grenier

    Architectural Intern

    Dayne is a part of the architectural team at ADG, whose role on projects includes model management and coordinating with client consultants. He also prepares scale drawings and contract documents from design development through construction documents.

    He has several years of experience working on education, healthcare and civic projects and enjoys working with teams to solve each project’s unique challenges! In his career, Dayne has worked on projects like First National Center renovation and Wichita Falls Career Education Center.

    Dayne has a Master and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Texas Tech University. He is a Texas Tech sports fanatic, enjoys golfing and anything outdoors. Dayne is from Houston, Texas and loves exploring new restaurants and happenings in his new home – Oklahoma City.

    Architectural Intern

    Jessica is a member of our architecture team. She coordinates with consultants, clients and her team to create sound design. She uses her knowledge of Revit to provide clients with consistent documentation, and even mentors fellow colleagues in the program.

    Her worldly understanding of cities and housing studies, locally and in Europe, led to an interest in urban issues and the role architecture can play in solving them. She also has an interest in renovation projects like First National Center and St. Gregory’s University monastery.

    Jessica has a Master of Architecture from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute and has a passion for community outreach. Jessica volunteers with Pivot to aide in the design of their Tiny Home Project for homeless youth and has a desire to improve housing for those in need. When she’s not working or volunteering, you can find Jessica snowboarding, camping and trying all the restaurants in Oklahoma City.

    Construction Administrator

    Portia has spent over 10 years with ADG, serving in a wide range of capabilities including program management, plan review and construction administration. Her excellent communication and organizational skills make her an efficient team leader with great client rapport. She is detail oriented and has a thorough understanding of code issues, which is essential in risk management. Her knowledge of facility codes and changing regulations, as well as her watchful eye, aid in keeping projects on track and on budget.


    BIM/CAD Technician

    Sarah provides BIM/CAD drafting services for the entire architectural design team. Her attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of drafting allows her to create thorough and clear design documents which have aided projects for new buildings, as well as renovations. Her hard work has contributed to plans for various building types including commercial, residential and educational facilities to name a few.

    Sarah holds an Associates in Architectural Technology from Brigham Young University in Idaho. She is an Oklahoma native who enjoys writing, reading and experimenting with different art techniques.


    Construction Administrator

    Kevin has over 35 years of experience in drafting design and over 20 years in construction administration. His project experience includes work on education, retail, municipal, military and industrial projects. His program management experience includes construction management and site inspections, submittal reviews, field investigations and cost estimating. This experience has given Kevin confidence to hold others accountable for their work, and has helped him develop an excellent eye for detail. He knows what it takes to carry a project through to its successful completion.

    Project Manager

    Jarrod is a member of ADG’s Program Management team. He has worked in all facets of architecture, including design and construction administration. Jarrod’s wide-ranging understanding of architecture enables him to be a knowledgeable and trustworthy consultant to clients.

    He is the Program Manager for the Oklahoma City MAPS 3 projects, working as a liaison to the city’s MAPS team to ensure all projects are within scope, time and budget. These include the MAPS 3 convention center, streetcar, Scissortail Park, wellness centers, trails and sidewalks.

    Jarrod has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma. He lives in Blanchard with his wife and two kids. Together they enjoy going to lake – camping, fishing and hunting. You can also find Jarrod on the golf course or working on his truck.

    BIM Manager

    Jeff is detail-oriented with a strong educational background in Computer Aided Drafting, supported with construction administration and professional work experience. He is ADG’s BIM Manager, responsible for managing BIM related technologies and processes. In addition to analyzing systems and developing and maintaining standards, Jeff educates and trains staff to enhance design and production efficiencies.

    His software skills include Revit 2009-2019, BIM 360, Masterspec, Lumion, Bluebeam, CAD and Architectural Desktop. His skills were helpful to projects like the Oklahoma City Police Headquarters and Municipal Courts Complex, OU Residential Colleges and UCO’s dining center.

    Jeff has an Associate of Applied Science in Architecture. He lives with his family in Deer Creek, Oklahoma and loves coaching his son and daughter in sports. He also enjoys fishing and boating on the lake, attending Dodger and Thunder sporting events, and golfing on the weekends. A fierce competitor, Jeff is ADG’s AIA tournament kickball coach, office chili cookoff winner and two-time horseshoe champion.

    Construction Specifier

    Frances brings over 34 years of expertise in construction specification to ADG. As a professional certified construction specifier, she is accomplished in all phases of writing and editing architectural specifications, including coordinating materials with architects, engineers and consultants to produce project manuals within strict deadlines. She has developed an expertise as a construction specifier working on some of Central Oklahoma’s most prominent projects, including the expansion of the Will Rogers Airport, the Murrah Building Memorial Museum and the Armed Forces Reserve Center in Norman.

    Frances has a passion for seeing that specifications are an integral part of project communication by making them easy to understand and organized by industry standards. She has committed many hours to increasing awareness and sharing resources through The Construction Specifications Institute, serving in leadership positions for CSI’s Oklahoma City Chapter since 1994.


  • Sean Murphey

    Architectural Intern

    Sean is a highly self-motivated and results-driven architectural intern, with conceptual and formal analysis training. He has proven self-learning abilities to handcraft models and hand rendered sketches to transfer ideas and concepts into brilliant, innovative, but practical architectural designs. Sean’s excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills forge synergistic teamwork with colleagues to achieve shared goals and success.

    His analytical and critical thinking allows him to resolve problems and achieve objectives independently or as part of a team. Some of Sean’s team experience includes working in healthcare, public, corporate and church projects.

    Sean has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma. He’s from Baltimore but moved to Oklahoma to pursue his career in architecture. Sean loves spending time with family, especially on their trips to Disney World, Europe and the Caribbean. He loves living in Oklahoma City with his wife, exploring different cities and cultures wherever their travels take them.

    Architectural Intern

    Curtis is part of the architectural team at ADG. His role involves collaborating with consultants and contractors to bring all project aspects together, resulting in well-documented and buildable projects. He also manages and maintains models to sustain efficiency during the life of a project. His knowledge of Revit has increased efficiency and accuracy for producing drawings for both new and existing buildings. Curtis appreciates the restoration of historical buildings and how architecture can play a key role in bringing buildings back to life.

    His experience includes education, religious, civic and hospitality projects. The First National Center renovation, the Learning Resources Center for Rose State College and the OKC Coliseum at the State Fairgrounds are a few projects he’s enjoyed being a part of at ADG.

    Curtis received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Oklahoma State University. He’s a LEED Green Associate and an American Institute of Architects associate. An avid music fan, Curtis loves learning new instruments including the banjo, piano, guitar and mandolin. He also enjoys woodworking, specifically designing and building furniture.



    Cody is a part of ADG’s civil engineering team. He takes design concepts from pen-and-paper to 3D views, all the way to construction documents. He excels at working closely with engineers to develop and complete projects with consistent submittal times. In addition, Cody maintains constant communication with clients and contractors to help streamline the process of construction and ownership.

    He has experience working on various project types: commercial, education, healthcare, religious institutions, municipalities, residential single and multifamily housing. Some of Cody’s projects include the First National Center renovation and Settler’s Ridge housing development in Oklahoma City, and the Howard Avenue streetscape improvements in Moore.

    Cody is a member of the Urban Land Institute. When he’s not focused on planning and design, he’s playing with his Pitbull named Rex, photographing adventures around the world, or in the garage working on his racecar.


    Construction Administrator

    Chris has had the unique opportunity to lead ADG through some of its most successful program management projects. His skillful and thorough review of construction documents, including submittals and RFIs, makes him an asset to the ADG team and his clients.

    He has a dynamic background in construction administration, having served as project manager, estimator and office engineer during his career. It is this experience that has been key to Chris’ success in program management with projects like MAPS for Kids and MAPS 3 Trails.

    Chris has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Oklahoma State University. He grew up in Stillwater but now calls Oklahoma City home. He loves international travel and has been to eight different countries. Chris’ hobbies include hunting, shooting and photography. He has a witty sense of humor, enjoyed by all his coworkers, and his favorite pastime is being with his granddaughter.

  • William N. Harrell

    Construction Administrator

    Bill provides program management services to clients on a wide range of projects. He has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of project planning and construction administration, serving as the owner’s point of contact on such noteworthy projects as the $180 million American Indian Cultural Center and Museum, the $40 million Oklahoma State Finance Data Center and several military readiness centers. He has overseen all aspects of construction projects from consultant selections and master planning through construction drawing review and quality assurance.

  • Emma Anderson

    Marketing Graphic Designer

    Emma is an ADDY award winning graphic designer, creating all visual branding and marketing materials for the firm. She uses her proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, typography and photography to help the ADG represent its work in an effective and inspiring way. Along with her ability to verbally communicate design effectively, Emma has excellent problem-solving skills. She can implement different design strategies based on the needs and requests of the client.

    Emma has a Bachelor of Art in Graphic Design from Oklahoma Baptist University. She lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and Turkish Van cat, Cleocatra. In addition to being a graphic designer, Emma is a freelance photographer and ramen aficionado who loves Art Deco architecture and attending concerts with her husband.

  • Sarah Margaret Hendrickson

    Interior Designer II

    Sarah Margaret is an accomplished project manager with experience in design, construction, scheduling, space planning and facility analysis. Her background in interior design further contributes to the well-rounded experience essential to ADG’s program management team. Sarah Margaret strives to facilitate effective communication when seeking creative project solutions.

    She has provided design services for various firms in both Oklahoma City and Atlanta, Georgia. Her organizational skills have vastly contributed to her current work with the Oklahoma City Public Schools Long Range Facility Master Plan.

    Sara Margaret holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Auburn University. She lives in Midtown with her husband and two cats. When she’s not on a run or hike, she enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants.

  • Dessra Potter

    Project Coordinator

    Dessra is a member of ADG’s program management team. She has extensive experience formatting documents and photos, reviewing and editing client-facing documents and handling time sensitive projects. She has great organizational and interpersonal skills with the amazing ability to anticipate the needs of her team.

    Dessra’s multifaceted skill set has been invaluable to the Oklahoma City Public Schools project. Her aptitude for organization is seen on every project she touches.

    When she’s not on-the-job, Dessra enjoys playing video games and board games with her family, and is a Star Wars fanatic. She lives in Yukon with her husband and children, three dogs, three cats, snake, gecko and loads of fish.


    Project Coordinator

    Carolyn is one of our highly organized and analytical project coordinators. Her responsibilities range from research and communications, to data analysis. Throughout the life of a project, she assists with all aspects of project communication: team communication, consultant deliverables, project scheduling, community outreach and coordination with government agencies.

    Oklahoma City Public Schools Facility Long Range Master Plan, Norman Public Schools 2018 Master Plan and the American Indian Cultural Center Museum are a few projects she assisted.

    Carolyn has nearly 20 years of experience in the architectural and construction industries. She is a lifelong Oklahoma City resident and has been married to her husband for over 35 years. She has a great-granddaughter in South Carolina, and she is an animal lover and activist. She is a strict vegetarian who is passionate about pet fostering, rescuing and adopting.


    Finance and Human Resources Administrator

    Diverse in many functions of the firm’s operations, Kayley wears several hats for ADG as Finance and Human Resources Administrator. She plays a key role in finances, human resources and employee relations within the firm. Her primary responsibilities include budgeting, billings, payroll assistance, timesheets and accounts payable/receivable. She also generates reports for some of the firm’s biggest projects, helping to keep them running on time and within budget.

    Kayley prides herself on coordinating volunteer and outreach events for the firm, and the planning and organizing of internal company events in order to maintain a healthy work environment and employee morale. She earned her Associates Degree in Business from Rose State College.

  • Cheryl Stewart

    Office Coordinator

    As ADG’s dedicated Office Coordinator, Cheryl utilizes her skills in business relations and administrative support. Her passion for meeting and greeting people is what strives her to make everyone who visits ADG feel welcomed. With experience in hospitality and front desk operations, she stays organized while multi-tasking and keeps the office running smoothly.

    Cheryl was born at Tinker Airforce Base and raised in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Although as a military brat, she didn’t live outside the United States until she moved to Panama and Germany as an adult. She has a passion for travel and experiencing other cultures. During her trip to Barcelona, Spain she developed an admiration for Antoni Gaudi’ architecture.

    A woman of many talents, Cheryl was a Meteorological Technician at Wiley Post Airport doing basic surface weather observations; served as a volunteer EMT for Cumberland County, NC Rescue, and was once nominated for a “Golden Eagle Award” in Nashville for “Novice Song Writer of The Year”. She is happily married and a proud Gami of two grandsons.
