St. Anthony Hospital engaged a developer that specializes in healthcare structures, especially physicians’ office buildings, to develop a new building for their campus. Frauenshuh Development hired ADG to design a new five-story, 100,000-square-foot building to provide administrative spaces and conference facilities on the fourth floor, an imaging center and breast care center, parking in the basement, and three floors of leasable office space. The ground floor includes a retail drug store and an upscale coffee shop. The basement level provides underground parking.
The 17,000-square-foot Rapp Foundation Conference Center includes a spacious foyer with a reception area and coat check. A catering kitchen is capable of serving over 350 for events. The main ballroom will accommodate 350 in auditorium-style seating or 200 for banquet-style seating. In addition to the Board Room that can seat 50, or be divided into two rooms to seat 25 each, two small breakout rooms can accommodate 20 each. The ballroom is equipped with state-of-the-art audio visual capabilities including a large projection screen and four LCD screens for easy audience viewing. Breakout rooms have large screen projection capabilities as well as monitors. The board rooms have projection capabilities as well as interactive whiteboards.
A large rooftop patio on the southeast corner of the building offers expansive views of the downtown skyline as well as the neighborhood surrounding the hospital that is enormous residential and commercial development.
The Oklahoma American Society of Interior Designers awarded the Rapp Foundation Conference Center it’s top honor for design excellence.
