The project is a $75 million, 163,000-square-foot, all-digital, state-of-the-art facility completely dedicated to cardiac care. ADG was hired after design was complete to serve as the owner’s advocate during construction.
This project is a sister building to a heart hospital opened in northwest Oklahoma City in 2002. The same design team, WHR Architects of Houston, is architect of record on this project. The facility is licensed for 46 beds, including ER beds with expansion capability to 62 beds. Three cath labs were built along with two operating rooms. Construction was completed in early 2010, on time and on budget.
In recognition of the value added to the hospital project, ADG was also hired to provide program management and development services on a follow-on project: a 67,000-square-foot medical office building addition on the same campus.
