ADG completed updates to the master plan for Mount Saint Mary Catholic High School. The goal is to add needed program space and enhance the aesthetic beauty of the 100+-year-old school that has served southwest Oklahoma City for generations.
The first projects completed as part of the master plan were the parking lot improvements and the second- and third-floor classroom renovations. The classroom renovations have allowed the school to expand their enrollment to 400.
Another aspect of the master plan includes creating a circulation spine for the campus to improve the traffic flow—both pedestrian and vehicular. New buildings and additions will include a new performing and visual arts center, a new cafeteria and a student commons area. In addition, many athletic facility improvements, including new grandstands for baseball/softball and football, a new press box and storage facilities for all athletic programs are part of the master plan. Progress is being made in all areas.
Many of the athletic projects are complete and a groundbreaking for the kitchen and common projects was held in spring 2016.
