ADG worked with the Oklahoma City Catholic Archdiocese and the parish priest to design a church that would be a welcoming, comfortable place for worship in this rural, mostly Latin congregation. The mission-style church building seats 160. The wings of the cruciform-shaped building serve as an extension to the central altar and are used for musicians during services.
Exterior materials include textured stucco and concrete roofing tiles. The stained glass windows—a central feature of this small, finely crafted structure—were originally in the chapel on the E.W. Marland Estate in Ponca City. The colorful Dalle de Verre windows depict various biblical themes and fill this spare church with beauty. Interior materials include stained-concrete floors, wooden pews, a marble altar table and handcrafted metal chandeliers. The new church, filled with old world charm, is a fitting home for craftsmanship old and new.
