Crossings Christian School engaged ADG to create a master plan for a new school campus to serve 1,000 students. The second and third phases of the project included a new upper school and an athletics complex.
The 50,000-square-foot upper school has two stories and includes safe rooms (like all the other buildings on campus). A cafeteria, music room, drama room and computer lab all double as safe rooms, including reinforced walls and ceilings along with FEMA-rated steel latching doors.
General education classrooms and a student lounge are located on the second floor with specialty classrooms on the first floor, including science labs, an art studio, a ceramics studio, a computer lab, a drama/debate room and music room. Lockers line the main corridors.
Key components of the campus master plan include lower, middle and upper schools, as well as athletic facilities and a performing arts center. The campus has been constructed over the past 10 years. The commons, auditorium and competition gym are currently under construction.
